What to expect

You and your baby will be greeted at the door by our loving staff and you will enter a class with other families with babies around the same age as yours!

During the next 55 minutes, the magic will unfold:

We start the class by learning each other's names and asking how you are doing. All feelings are welcome and honored in our space. We truly care how you are doing and have built-in time for checking in. All of the songs you'll be singing with us are in Spanish (lyrics are always up for you to see!), and we have an abundance of translations throughout class for families that are new to Spanish.

In the next song, you'll play with developing fine motor skills, often while learning new words in sign language. Then you'll move into a song with exercises that strengthen your baby's core and teaches rhythm. Towards the middle of class, you'll stand up and have a little dance party with your baby and the other families! Next we'll hand out special props that help your baby develop social-emotional skills and concrete learning, always to the beat of a Mi Casa Es Tu Casa song!

Halfway through the class we take a break for your baby to socialize and explore new instruments and for you to connect with other mamas. As we wind down, your teacher will lower the lights and sing a lullaby to calm your nervous system and give you and your baby time to process all you've learned. This is where some of our most important conscious parenting tips are given, tips that you can apply immediately.

Lastly, we will say goodbye with our "Hasta Pronto"song and your baby will have a chance to play the teacher's guitar!

Very often, our families stay after class in our play area to bond and sometimes head off for playdates together. We LOVE when that happens!
